Banking and Finance Associate (Solicitor)
£70k - £100k +DOE
London/Hybrid Working
The role
- Due to another phase of growth, our client is looking to recruit a Qualified UK Solicitor within their excellent Banking and Finance practice.
- The role will be to contribute to the growth of the team, working closely with the Head of Banking, who has a wealth of experience form top 200 UK Law firms.
- The role collaborates closely with the Real Estate Finance team, acting for circa 50 lenders, offering bespoke legal solutions for diverse banking and real estate finance needs.
- Clients includes bridging lenders, alternative lenders, challenger banks, family offices, developers, and individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in General Banking, Corporate Lending, Project Finance, Acquisition Finance, Secured Lending, and Real Estate/Property Finance.
- Navigate complex transactions ranging from £100,000 to £50 million, with a focus on deals between £1 million to £50 million.
- Act for both lenders and borrowers
- Handle Regulatory matters, Real Estate Finance, and various legal agreements such as Loan on Loan Agreements, Credit agreements, Security documents, and Inter-creditor agreements/deeds of priority.
Requirements
- 3-7 years' successful experience as a Banking & Finance Lawyer.
- Proficiency in Regulatory matters and Real Estate Finance.
- Strong technical skills in Banking and Finance
- Team player mindset, actively contributing to departmental development.
- Highest working standards, client-centric approach.
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
- Analytical prowess, pragmatic approach.
- Business development experience.
- Open-minded and dynamic personality.
