Our client, a boutique city law firm experiencing rapid growth, is looking for a candidate with strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and corporate transactional experience to join their team. Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Corporate Solicitor, you will work directly with clients from various sectors, including mergers and acquisitions transactions, management buy-outs, joint ventures, shareholders, LLP and partnership agreements, corporate lending and restructuring, and business terms and conditions, among other commercial contracts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Handling a full caseload of a wide range of matters, including M&A transactional work and general corporate and commercial cases.
- Collaborating closely with the Managing Partner and actively participating in the negotiation of key documents and project management of transactional work.
- New business development and networking with new and existing clients.
- Working as part of a close-knit, highly flexible team.
Requirement for the role:
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualities and experience:
- A minimum of 5 years PQE, with a proven track record in Corporate Law.
- Manage own caseload of transactional corporate matters, and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Highly motivated and ambitious – must be committed to growth and success.
- An appetite for BD and networking
- Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and collaborative team player.
