Senior Associate Corporate Commercial

Highly recognised Law firm with a rich history spanning nearly two centuries, is now seeking a seasoned Corporate Commercial Solicitor/Legal Exec to bolster their London team. The firm is continuously expanding, and this is a new role to add value to the currently successful team.

The role:
As part of a dynamic and esteemed team, you will have the opportunity to engage in high-value corporate transactions while benefiting from a collaborative and energetic work environment. The Corporate Commercial team work with clients across a broad range of industry sectors including insurance, franchising, food, and beverage, digital and tech, amongst others.
The role will involve handling diverse corporate matters such as:
- Mergers and Acquisitions
- Management Buyouts
- Private equity investment
- Shareholder exits and share reconstructions.
- Company buybacks.
- Share incentives and option schemes.
- Company constitutions (Articles of Association and share rights)
- Company re-structuring
- Shareholders Agreements
- Debt finance
- Structured loan transactions
- Secured and unsecured commercial lending and borrowing
- Acquisition finance
- Lending associated with company sales.
- Trading agreements (including sales, distribution and agency agreements)
- Intellectual Property and IT agreements
- Business and Property Joint Venture Agreements
- Retained and ad-hoc business advisory services.
- Providing expertise on Companies Act matters.
With autonomy over your own caseload and active involvement in business development, this role offers excellent prospects for career advancement.
Requirements:
- Min of 7 years Corporate Commercial experience
- Qualified Solcitor or CILEx
- A strong technical background
- Commercial acumen
- Exceptional communication skills and a flair for developing new business.
- Strong negotiation skills
