Debt Recovery Customer Executive, £19,000 per annum, Maidstone, Kent

A leading law firm of choice in the South East, who pride themselves on delivering quality and value to clients through continuous innovation, robust management practice and a commitment to excellence is looking to add to their Collections and Recoveries team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for their first professional job from school, college or university. The firm will ensure that a robust learning and development plan is put into place for the Debt Recovery Customer Executive, to ensure you are able to deliver outstanding client services and add value to the team, as well as the opportunity to earn a very competitive performance related bonus.

About the role

You will be joining a friendly but hardworking team who apply a ‘can do’ approach to their daily work. They operate a service between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Therefore, you will be required to follow a shift pattern of 8am to 4pm and 10am to 6pm on alternate weeks. This is an interesting but demanding role and your main responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership and responsibility of debt recovery cases
  • Research and analyse cases in order to decide the best course of action
  • Produce and check outgoing letters and documents
  • Undertake telephone collections
  • Engage with debtors to find constructive solutions
  • Deliver tangible results within agree timeframes
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements to ensure that collections are maximised but within compliant framework
  • Actively contribute to team and routine case review meetings
