Our client is a law firm with five offices in South London, who have been associated with the practice of law since 1864. They are committed to providing the very best legal services and advice to individuals and businesses throughout South London. The firm has a ninety-strong team of specialist solicitors, who are highly experienced and individually accredited within their field. Engagement and rapport with customers are a priority from the start of each case in which they are instructed. To achieve this, they promote a relationship based on trust and their goal is to ensure that they understand their clients’ expectations and can achieve the outcome they require. The firm is now looking to boost its Family department with a Paralegal.
What is the role
As a key member of this team, your role is to work closely with the solicitors and advocate on a broad range of family law matters, with a particular focus on childcare law. The team currently consists of two Partners, three Solicitors, three Legal Executives, as well as other members of the support staff team.
Main responsibilities for this role are:
- Dealing with all aspects of administration
- Court diaries
- Setting cases up on the case management system
- Arranged experts
- Preparing court bundles
What you will need?
- Previous Paralegal/Legal Assistant experience in childcare law
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
