Senior Employment/Civil Litigation Solicitor 5 years PQE - £55k+ DOE – Barking, Essex

The role

Sole Employment Solicitor ( 50%), you will handle a broad range of employment work, contentious and non-contentious dealing with matters such as;

• Grievances
• Employment Tribunal claims
• Unfair dismissal and discrimination
• Maternity and pregnancy discrimination
• Sexual harassment
• Compromise agreements

 

The Civil Litigation (50%) will encompass work including:
advising and representing individuals and companies in general litigation including

• construction disputes,
• breach of contract,
• professional negligence,
• debt recovery.
• Matters ranging from fast track to High Court.
• Claimant insolvency work

 

What they are looking for

• 5-years PQE Solicitor
• Litigation experience would be a distinct advantage
• Must have up-to-date knowledge and practical experience of UK employment law and be up to date with recent developments
• Willing to get involved with business development
• Strong client facing skills
