Our client is a modern, progressive firm of solicitors in Kent conveniently situated with great transport links. They pride themselves on providing a quality service and astute legal advice which you might expect from a large London firm but at regional prices. They have an opening for a senior family solicitor to join their reputable family department.

The role

You will join a very busy and highly regarded family team and with the full support of a legal secretary you will manage a varied caseload which will consist of the following:

  • Divorce and separation agreements
  • Dissolution of civil partnerships and separation agreements
  • Ancillary relief
  • Children issues, including residence and contact
  • Cohabitation agreements
  • Prenuptial agreements
  • Domestic violence
  •  

What they are looking for

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 8 years PQE in managing their own caseload of private family matters
  • Proven experience of billing 3x salary
  • Technically strong in all aspects of family law
  • Strong client facing skills
  • Exemplary professionalism
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong academics
  • Motivated and high attention to detail
  • Good team player
