Property Litigation Locum, £40 per hour plus, Hertfordshire, ( Remote Working)

Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Locum with a highly regarded Insurance Company based in Herts within their Landlord and Tenant division.

 

 

The Role

The position will involve:

• Billing caseload in Landlord and Tenant Litigation
• Advise landlords and tenants on break notices;
• Advise landlords on service charge disputes;
• Prepare notice seeking possession, notice to quit and forfeiture notices; issue possession proceedings via PCOL, accelerated and non-accelerated route;
• Oversee undefended possession claims; responsible for own caseload – defended possession matters; disrepair claims (landlords); policy advice; debt recovery (civil and property); draft tenancy agreements, TOBs, deeds of surrender and assignment;
• Drafted reply to defence and defence to counterclaim to a disrepair and harassment claim;
• Acted (advocacy) for respondent in appeals
• Advise corporate clients on possession and disrepair matters

Who are you?

• 5 year PQE+ Solicitor with strong Property Litigation experience
