Our client is a law firm with five offices in South London, who have been associated with the practice of law since 1864. They are committed to providing the very best legal services and advice to individuals and businesses throughout South London. The firm has a ninety-strong team of specialist solicitors, who are highly experienced and individually accredited within their field. Engagement and rapport with customers are a priority from the start of each case in which they are instructed. To achieve this, they promote a relationship based on trust and their goal is to ensure that they understand their clients’ expectations and can achieve the outcome they require.

The firm is now looking for a further experienced Will Writer to join a growing department, ideally on a full-time basis though they will consider part-time hours and are flexible in terms of remoter working.

The role

This is a great opportunity for a confident will writer to join a friendly, private client team. They have recently launched an out of hours will writing service, where they are happy to offer their clients in-person appointments at their offices, home visits, telephone and video appointments. The role includes managing a busy caseload of Wills and Powers of Attorney with a particular focus on:

• Drafting Wills
• Advising on tax with an emphasis on inheritance tax mitigation
• Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection deputyship applications

The successful candidate must have the ability to demonstrate sound technical knowledge in the areas outlined above.
