Solicitor – Public Law (Migrant Support) 3 YR PQE+
£38k - £40k dependent on experience
London E1, Flexible and hybrid working
Full-time – 35 hours per week; 9.30am-5.30pm Monday–Friday (alternative working arrangements including part-time hours will be considered)

Our client who is top law firm recognised by Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 is looking for a Solicitor or Legal Executive, who can meet the Legal Aid Agency supervisor requirements for the public law category to join their well-established and friendly social welfare department.
The Role
You will be experienced in all aspects of public law including judicial review proceedings. Ideally, you will have recent experience of migrant support issues such as disputes about accommodation and support with the Home Office and local authorities, age assessments, leaving care duties and trafficking. we would especially welcome candidates who have experience of damages claims against public authorities relating to migrant support.
Who are you?
- Solicitor with 3+ years PQE.
- Experience dealing with Judicial review proceedings.
- Experience of migrant support issues.
- Experience dealing with disputes about accommodation and support with the Home Office and local authorities.
- Experience dealing with age assessments, leaving care duties and trafficking.
- Experience of damages claims against public authorities relating to migrant support.
- Have good knowledge of the legal aid scheme and have the skills to provide supervision to a growing team of junior lawyers.
